Hallelujah! We have an announcement to make!

This message from Pastor Steve went out earlier today and we are thrilled to repeat it here in its entirety. Suffice to say, much more information is coming soon. Our Pastor Nominating Committee is concluding its work and will present to you a nomination for our Pastor, Head of Staff at a congregational meeting on Sunday,  July 21 at 12:15 pm.  WOW! The PNC has taken the time required to discern God's call with prayer, faith, and wisdom. When the congregation was discussing the search process at our annual meeting, you may recall that someone stood up and thanked the PNC for "not settling." The process took time, but the PNC will now bring to you a person with the gifts, character, and skills to lead us in ministry and nurture our discipleship. The PNC is super enthusiastic and can't wait to introduce the candidate to you. I am, of course, unable to share the name of the candidate at this time. The candidate is currently serving another church and that congregation has not yet been told their pastor may leave. The PNC will share details soon and you will hear the candidate preach and be able to examine the candidate on July 21. This is a joyful time! Please be in prayer for the candidate and the candidate's spouse and children. Also, send notes and cards of thank you to the PNC members and their families. We are grateful to them!
